At Teramar we strive to produce sound, multi functional Miniature Longhaired Dachshunds that excel in the show or obedience ring and are the best family pets.  We take great care in selecting our breeding stock and properly socialize ALL of our dogs from birth through there "golden years". We feel that the key to balanced dogs includes access to excellent vet care, proper exercise, stimulating interactive experiences with both people and other dogs on an ongoing basis NOT just a puppies and of course a diet that both promotes health and longevity.

Both Marie and I have been involved with many breeds of dogs over the years including, German Shepherds, Labradors, Beagles, Whippets, Miniature Poodles and our current breed MLH Dachshunds we have found that regardless of the breed, size or nature of the dog they ALL flourish with socialization, proper diet and mental stimulation and of course proper medical care.

All of our prospective puppy buyers are carefully screened to ensure that we place the right puppy with the right person/ family. If you are interested in one of our dogs please be prepared to complete a questionnaire so that we are better able to assess your needs.
